PayChaser is a Chrome extension designed to help users create, manage, and send WhatsApp payment reminders and follow-up messages based on user-provided customer and payment information.

This Privacy Policy applies to the PayChaser Chrome extension, our payment and license activation services, and any related web pages such as our checkout page, privacy page, and support pages.

• User-provided reminder data: names, phone numbers, due dates, invoice references, payment amounts, custom reminder details, and other spreadsheet-imported or manually entered reminder data.

• Usage and plan data: monthly reminder counts, plan usage status, activation state, and local feature configuration.
• Technical data: limited technical information needed for service security, fraud prevention, troubleshooting, and license validation, such as timestamps, browser-side extension state, and server logs.

• Directly from you when you enter reminder data, upload spreadsheet data, or activate a plan.
• From payment and order workflows when you purchase or renew a paid plan.
• From extension storage when PayChaser stores settings, plan status, and usage counters locally.
• From our backend systems when the extension validates a license or checks plan access.

4. How we use information

We use information only for the purposes necessary to provide and improve PayChaser’s core functionality, including:

• Generating and managing WhatsApp payment reminders and follow-up workflows requested by the user.

5. How we store information

Some data may be stored locally in your browser using Chrome extension storage so the extension can remember your settings, activation status, and plan usage state across sessions.

Certain payment, activation, and license-related data may be stored securely on our backend systems or database to validate paid access, manage subscriptions, investigate abuse, and process refunds or plan changes.

6. Data sharing and third parties

We do not sell personal data.

We do not use or transfer user data for personalized advertising.

We do not share user data with data brokers or information resellers.

We may share limited data only when necessary to operate the service, such as with:

7. Chrome Web Store Limited Use statement

PayChaser uses data only to provide or improve the user-facing functionality described in the Chrome Web Store listing and inside the extension interface.

The use of information received by PayChaser complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

8. Permissions and access

PayChaser requests only the permissions needed to provide its stated functionality.

• storage — to save local settings, usage counts, and activation status.
• activeTab — to work with the user’s active WhatsApp Web tab when the user intentionally uses the extension.
• alarms — to perform plan-limit and license-validation checks.
• Host access to WhatsApp Web — to provide reminder workflow functionality specifically on WhatsApp Web.

9. Human access to data

We do not allow humans to read user data except when necessary for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or user-requested support where access is specifically needed to resolve an issue.

10. Data retention

We retain data only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain active licenses, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and prevent fraud or abuse.

Locally stored data may remain in the extension until you remove it, clear browser storage, or uninstall the extension.

11. Security

We take reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect data against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. However, no method of storage or transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

12. Your choices

• You may stop using PayChaser at any time.
• You may remove the extension from Chrome at any time.
• You may request deletion of support or account-related records, subject to legal and operational requirements.
• You may choose not to purchase a paid plan; however, some features may remain limited on the free plan.

13. Children’s privacy

PayChaser is not intended for children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

14. International use

If you use PayChaser from outside your home country, your information may be processed in countries where our service providers or infrastructure are located, subject to applicable safeguards.
